bad credit loan missouri
We are looking for a car loan but can not find anyone that will lend us the money. Our credit is not bad except for the discharged bankruptcy. We can afford a car payment and we are not looking for a brand new car just a used car. We do not want to deal with a buy here pay here place either. Does anyone have any suggestions. We would need a car dealer in missouri.
This is what I do for a living. Look in Sundays newspaper and find a dealer near you that advertises special finance. Call them and speak to the manager, they will be able to help you. If you were not included in your husband bankruptcy? You might consider buying the vehicle in your name only. Or you be the primary buyer with your husband as the co-signer. Whatever you do, do not go to a buy here pay her lot. They cahrge way to much for their vehicles and most do not report to the credit bureaus so any payments you and your husband make do nothing to re-establish his credit.
You don't say whether you have tried to establish any other credit after the bankruptcy. I filed when I got divorced because my ex husband did, and there was a predatory lending issue that would be passed onto me if I didn't too. I have gotten car loans and credit cards since. If you have a good credit history, you should be able to. Try to establish other credit first, or come up with a good down payment, and the dealership will work with you.
More than likely it is much too soon to acquire a car loan with any agency other than a buy here-pay here. Once a bankruptcy is filed and even discharged a major trust has been broken and the price will be paid.
Try to get the loan in your name only. Some lenders will allow you to use both your income and his to justify the loan amount while using you and your credit history alone as the financially responsible party.
If the discharge is not in your name you should try and get the loan in your name only.

This just happened to my son who is only 18. The person who hit him insurance provided him with a rental. No problem. I think the 21 age minimum to rent a car is still active, but when someone wrecks your car that is a different story and the insurance companies and the rental car companies allow for it.
I might suggest that you try this web site where you can get quotes from the best companies: http://COVERAGEDEALS.NET/index.html?src=...RE :Can I get a rental car from the insurance of the person who hit me if I'm under 21? A girl hit my car rendering it un-drivable. I was told I can get a rental car or the money for one from her insurance company since she is at fault. However, I'm only 20 and I was always under the impression that you have to be 21 to rent a car. Update: I live in Missouri by the way. My car is titled in both my name and my mothers but her credit is worse than bad. My grandmother is the cosigner on the loan to my car but I don't see how that could matter. Follow 8 answers

The only person/company with whom it matters is the rental company. There are no insurance or state laws about an age they can rent to... they set their own limits. With that said, call around and see if one will rent to someone under 21. The rate will be higher. From what I recall at least one national chain (Hertz or Enterprise?) rents to people who are under 21 for an additional fee (must be an insurance claim). What I usually tell people is to see if there is a friend or family member who can rent and drive the rental car. That person can then let you drive their vehicle. The carrier should not care whos name is on the rental as long as they know what the deal is.

Some states you have to be 25 to rent a car, but it could be different in your case, you need to talk to the insurance company, and put up a big stink if they say you cant. Is your car possibly co signed by a parent? in that case you could do so without a problem, if not, then i would definetely take it up with the insurance company, and the rental car company.
Happened to me once. I filed the claim under my insurance for the damages and the rental, and my insurance billed theirs.
The condo corporation isn't to blame for the damages for your motor vehicle - they did not hit you. also they don't look required to provide you the advice of the renter. The renter's coverage gained't conceal you besides because the driving force replaced into no longer the renter. It has no longer something to do with what you imagine. all of them ascertain coverage earlier the vehicle is permitted to leave the lot. Your beef isn't with the condo corporation, it really is with the guy who hit you. What you pick to do is contact your own coverage corporation and document a declare with them. easily Larkin, i recognize what i'm speaking about. i'm a declare rep for an coverage corporation, and that i artwork VERY heavily with condo agencies. there is component to the condo settlement that states the renter is only to blame for any damage TO the condo motorcar and any damage led to via the condo motorcar. in the journey that they did not upload this little element, all condo agencies might want to be out of corporation because of irresponsible renters. yet another reaon they are interior their rights to refuse to pay is because the renter violated the settlement via letting un unlisted, unlicensed driving force perform the motorcar.

Before Capital One and Chase stuck it to some people I know, Advanta has done the same with small Business accounts, which are about 75% of their business. I'm thinking when the stinky stuff starts to hit the fan, the credit card companies are going to regret what they are doing because they will end up with only the desperate as customers. Have any of you thought of sending complaints to your state's attorney generals office? A great many of us in Missouri have.
That's the whole issue of things gone wrong today. Up until the late 70s no one could get a credit card unless they pass a credit check. Then the credit card companies (banks) decided to issue everyone a card with a line of credit and let the interest go up to cover the ones with over drawn accounts and let the good accounts (us) cover the bad ones. The government stepped in and had to regulate the amount of interest to charge. That's what happened to Freddie Mack and Fannie May and the other loan companies. They wanted restrictions eased on loaning money to people to buy homes and let the ones who could make payments offset the bad debts. Houses started to sell, which made their prices higher, which made all the people who bought way over their head default, which put a burden on the others, which made the housing industry collapse. The government started loosening restrictions under pressure starting back around 2000 and keep on until last fall when it all hit the fan. Everyone wanted to sell houses and they didn't care about the consequences. It's called GREED. G-R-E-E-D!
Yes and it was articled in the Opinions portion of our paper just today. I was not aware that Advanta had done the same. I will search more information Thank you
We'll see - today I paid off Chase because they wanted to bump me from a loan "guarantee" of 3.9% on their cc to 17.4% - so to heck with them, In the mail yesterday came my Capital one card - same story but they had the nerve to ask me for 23% - - - well as my mother never had any stupid children, I will be paying off Capital one with my next income check. How stupid do they think we are? (That is a rhetorical question)! CJ
There is that hint of Monopoly ... who are ya gonna call? .....ghost-busters? ... they just went through all the bribery to get the regulations changed so that they can gouge us .... they will not change unless made to. As soon as I can I will pay-off & close one. But for so many things you need a credit card.
They may be just scraping the bottom of the barrel . What's sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander. A day of reckoning may be appropriate.
Yes definitely.
I know chase bit me in the butt, temporarily and i cut them loose..now g.e. money works who has the walmart card is messing with me, with no reason as to why and i havent given them one, but i'm fixing to cut them loose as they have ran 3 credit checks in two months for no reason and have lowered my score..im sorry ge is in trouble but they arent taking me with them! i dont need them like they need me i have other cards and a good line of credit so i have no idea what they think they re doing but they are done doing it to me.
They couldn't care less.
Amazing. they get a bailout and then raise rates too !!
Duh? Ya think??

Yes the Royal mail has a database which it sells to businesses etc. to look up post codes and addresses - but if both Flat A and Ground Floor Flat are in the same building they almost certainly have exactly the same Post Code so some of the confusion maybe your fault - if I arrived at your address with a letter or parcel would I see a sign of some sort directing me to flat A upstairs (or where ever) and ground floor flat - or would I just see a letter box and have to assume it was the one the letter was meant for - are you flat doors clearly labelled ? and are you making it clear to people who are sending you things that they must put Flat A in the address.

There are organizations that help with vet bills,(there may be specific orgs just for greyhounds, I would join alot of greyhound groups and ask) IMOM [www.imom.org] "Mission Statement: Helping people help pets. To better the lives of sick, injured and abused companion animals. We are dedicated to insure that no companion animal has to be euthanized simply because their caretaker is financially challenged." (Note: IMOM has a special fund for diabetic cats) American Animal Hospital Association [www.aahahelpingpets.org] "The heartbreak happens all too often? A pet owner is unable to afford treatment and their sick or injured companion animal pays the price. If the owner is elderly, disabled or on a fixed income, the cost of care may be too much of a stretch for their pocketbook. Perhaps they have been victimized by crime, property loss or a job layoff and are experiencing a temporary financial hardship? Making it too difficult to afford pet care. And some animals, brought to clinics by Good Samaritans, don't have an owner to pay for treatment. Whatever the situation, the fact remains the same: When sick or injured animals are unable to receive veterinary care, they suffer. Through the AAHA Helping Pets Fund, veterinary care is possible for sick or injured pets even if they have been abandoned or if their owner is experiencing financial hardship." Angels 4 Animals [www.angels4animals.org] "Angels4Animals, a non-profit organization and a program of Inner Voice Community Services, has a mission to serve as the guardian angel of animals whose caretakers find themselves in difficult financial situations. At Angels4Animals we believe that animal owners should not have to say goodbye to the animals that they love. Our work is accomplished in conjunction with veterinary clinics across the country, eager to assist as many animals, and their owners, as possible. Our services range from financial aid to complete treatment to those pets and pet owners in need." Care Credit [www.carecredit.com] A credit card company for health care, including veterinary care. "Care Credit, the leader in patient/client financing, has helped more than 3 million patients/clients get the treatment or procedures they needed and wanted. With a comprehensive range of plan options, for treatment or procedure fees from $1 to over $25,000, we offer a plan and a low monthly payment to fit comfortably into almost every budget." Help-A-Pet [www.help-a-pet.org] "Our efforts focus on serving the elderly, the disabled, and the working poor. For lonely seniors, physically/mentally challenged individuals and children of working parents, pets represent much more than a diversion." Shakespeare Animal Fund [www.shakespeareanimalfund.com] “Anyone can apply for funds, but SAF offers assistance primarily to those on fixed incomes or with annual incomes below $35,000. Exceptions are made depending on circumstances. It is always a one-time grant” The Pet Fund [thepetfund.com] "The Pet Fund is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit association that provides financial assistance to owners of domestic animals who need urgent veterinary care. Often animals are put down or suffer needlessly because their owners cannot afford expensive surgery or emergency vet visits. Companion animal owners must often make the difficult decision to put an animal down or neglect urgent medical needs because of the costs involved. The purpose of the Pet Fund is to work towards a future where decisions about companion animal medical care need never be made on the basis of cost." United Animal Nations [www.uan.org] "The mission of LifeLine is to help homeless or recently rescued animals suffering from life-threatening conditions that require specific and immediate emergency veterinary care. We strive to serve Good Samaritans and rescue groups who take in sick or injured animals. In certain cases, LifeLine can also assist senior citizens and low-income families pay for immediate emergency veterinary care." UK Assistance with Veterinary Bills [www.petloversonline.co.uk] "Most of us can cope with the financial commitment involved in the day to day care of our pets. However, how many of us come out in a cold sweat when our pet is ill or injured and we know we have to take it to the vet? Most of us are fortunate enough to be able to afford it but, some of us who love our animals dearly cannot. Unfortunately we do not have a PDSA or a RSPCA Centre within our area, but there are a few charities who may be able to help."
"Catsndogs" answer above is great. All these organizations may be able to help. Also, check out different veterinarians near you. Many vets will be willing to work out a payment plan with you for a treatment you cannot afford. Definitely do not let the shelter take your dog. She has been through enough already. Keep searching until you find the way to get this done. And THANK YOU so very much for adopting a dog from a shelter. Anyone who does that is AWESOME!
I completely consider you, and animalgurl. some rescue individuals are quite good, those that certainly make an effort to be taught eveything they could approximately what they are doing. I hate whilst human beings say, "oh i admire animals" yet do no longer hardship getting to grasp something approximately them. in case you love something you like to appreciate approximately it. Thats my opinion besides. yet because of the fact they paintings with canines or maybe though, some human beings think of their be conscious is gospel. comparable with vets. i understand some quite ignorant vets, with nutrition and breeds and that style of element. A load of rescue workers are idiots. Shell P, then you definately've in no way had to coach something greater suitable than a Border Collie or a Labrador if thats all you had to apply! Ha! absolutely everyone could desire to coach an incredible little working collie with "a pointy be conscious and treats"! canines like Dobes and good GSD's (those Germans understand the thank you to make 'em) undertaking each and every thing, annoyingly sufficient, and theres no element pretending that they do no longer, because of the fact thats precisely what reasons injuries and given them a bad call. "Sharp words and treats" devoid of any genuine training. Shell P and absolutely everyone else with this opinion, i could want to offer you a Yugoslavian Doberman, permit you "practice" him and see how he obeys you in a field whilst he see's a rabbit. Or smells one. you are able to desire to have a canines evidence experienced before you are able to say its totally experienced, or maybe then you definately do no longer take any opportunities. I propose Jeez, you don't get automobile devoid of understanding the thank you to tension it! you mustn't get a canines devoid of understanding the thank you to coach it! Prongs are mandatory for some canines, no longer all canines. E-collars are even mandatory for some canines, with an unreliable remember to illustrate. you may thank God for identifying to be taught the thank you to apply an e-collar on your canines that interior the previous had a picky remember whilst he gets off his lead in site visitors and see's a cat, and yet comes quickly back to you once you call. pass Frankie!!! (And animalgurl and a few others!)
What bad need are you talking about? Does she chase her tail obsessively?

Ok, so my husband and i have recently taken in my great niece who is a year old... Her mother agreed to let her live with us while she works on getting off drugs and getting a job and a place to live.. We have no legal paperwork such as temp custody or guardianship, however we do have a letter from the mother with all the childs info stating that she will be living with us for a while... Is there any way my husband and i could get any state assistance such as food stamps or medical insurance to help us financially... we struggle at times ourselves having 4 kids of our own and taking on a baby is something we arent budgeted for and could just use a little extra help... If anyone knows how we may go about this or even if we can please let me know.. Also we live in missouri if that helps... Thank you so much for your time..
You should contact your state's local social services office (links below). Get in touch with a social worker and find out what kind of financial assistance is available for you. Generally, assistance is given out based on a number of factors, such as the number of children you have and your income. You may want to think about getting temporary guardianship over your niece. A social worker can also guide you through the process. Typically, you can get it much easier if you have the biological parents' consent. If you rent your place, you might also think about applying for rental assistance under Section 8. But again, get in touch with a social worker. It'll make the process much easier.
You should be able to get state assistance. You need to go talk to one of them. They can tell you what you need to do. Since you have a letter from the mom you may need to get it notarized. But they will advise you on that. But yes you can get help. You will be able to get insurance on her through the state also. Good luck

Check with an national, direct lender that can help you in any state. You can even apply online! They'll ask you lots of questions about your income, assets and credit and be able to come up with a couple loan options for your home in Missouri. I included a link about rates in Missouri. Feel free to contact me directly with any questions!!
I work for a title company and close loans for banks, credit unions and others. I find that the people who get the best rates go with a loan officer who has access to many different lenders. This way they can look at all of the rates out there and not just what their individual institution is doing. If you would like a referral to a good loan officer, shoot me an email.
Credit unions often offer the best rates because they are for members only and are tax exempt so they have lower overhead costs. Their rates are not included in searches for low rates but you can find the ones in your area at http://www.ncua.gov/indexdata.html Most are for people who work at sponsoring companies, but some serve everyone that lives in the community. If you are eligible to join one, you should compare with their rates before you accept a mortgage from a broker or bank.
One time would do.
missouri financial assistance
I was wondering if anyone knew of pet assistance programs that provide food or other things to pet owners in need and deliver to central missouri or are based around central missouri. I take in stray animals and recently had financial difficulties so I am having trouble getting the bills paid. I have seven dogs and took in two today that were to be put to sleep and none of the shelters will take them because they have mange, so the medical bills and food is adding up to a lot lately. Please do not tell me to not take in these dogs because as long as they need help I will help them and I am not a hoarder. All of them have all the food they want and have whatever medical care they need, but it would be helpful to have some assistance during these hard times. Thanks to all who, like me, cannot say no to an animal in need and anyone who has suggestions for my situation. Also for those who know what mange is, those two are separated from the others, so not to worry :)
Have you tried placing an ad on craigslist.org to ask for donations in the form of food and/or supplies? I also live in central Missouri, and if I wasn't so broke too, I would gladly help out. There are a lot of animal lovers out there...surely someone would be willing to help! Oh yeah, and to answer your question....I've never heard of any assistance programs in central MO. Sorry! :(
Call your vet's workplace and notice if he/she is aware of wherein the closest low-cost spay health facility is. If there is not one, discover a vet so they can take repayments. That method you do not need to fear approximately no longer having stored up. In your concern it demands to be performed now -- if it is not already too overdue. If a vet destroys the clutter earlier than it is born, then the mummy cat hasn't bonded together with her kittens and she or he would possibly not need to move via that trauma. Beats the hell out of the opposite direction. I reside in a rural field too so I've had my proportion of deserted animals. (My street is not even on such a lot maps.) Living in locations like this implies riding many years to get anyplace. It's without problems the alternate off. Maybe I'm no longer knowledge your put up, however I do not fully grasp the change among riding 70 miles to a spay health facility or 70 miles to drop off 2 litters of kittens. Why are you inclined to make the force for one however no longer the opposite? If 70 miles is the nearest health facility, is not it valued at the fuel to avoid a few pain? I do not imply to sound vital, however get within the truck already. :)
best cash advance Missouri
I live in Missouri and I was wondering about the bill for my electricity. There is a spot under my bill due date and it says "Cash Deposit on Hand" and it says 150 bucks. Now to me, that sounds like there is a cash deposit that didn't get used on bills or extra I paid accidently (I paid twice once because my mom owed like 500 bucks in back bills owed) So if its not my money for something, what the heck does "Cash deposit on hand" mean?
In my neck of the woods new electric customers have to pay a deposit when they set up service unless they provide a "letter of credit" from their prior electric provider. The power company keeps the deposit until the account is closed and then it's either applied to the final bill or refunded to the customer. It's like paying the last month on a lease in advance. Does that makes sense? I don't know if that's what's going on in your case...your best bet is to call the utility and ask them.
On your monthly statement is a phone number, call it and ask your question. It's better that you get the informaiton right from the horses mouth (excuse the expression).
cash fast loan missouri
Last week, I went and saw a house and really liked it, the same day I told her I want to contract it, so we went back to the office did all the paper work, set a closing date and I payed the ernest money... Today she calls and tells me I need to get the money fast cause there is another contract on the house (that was signed AFTER mine a few days after).. and that they have put ernest money down and have the cash ready, mine is a cash contract also so Im not waitng for a loan to come through.... I thought it was illegal to have 2 written contracts on the same house, even if it was a different agent that did the contract the seller would of known about the 2nd contract
It's legal to have TWO contracts on the same house, but is really STUPID to do so. In all professional real estate transactions, any second offer is tendered in secondary position to the first binding offer. If the sellers have actually signed TWO primary offers, one or both buyers can make their lives REALLY miserable, since they can only honor ONE of the contracts. Ask this agent what on earth is going on. That other offer should be secondary to yours, in that it only becomes primary if YOUR offer falls through for some reason. You might also want to contact her managing broker to advise what you have been told. Hmmm....just noted that the agent called the other offer a 'back up contract', which leads me to think that it is a secondary offer. That being the case, all you need do is honor the terms of YOUR agreement. Read carefully what you signed to insure that you are fulfilling all requirements on your side in a timely manner.
To my knowledge, the first contract is valid, as long as the Seller also signed.

Well, take the miles you have to travel, the rough gas mileage of your vehicle, and a rough estimate of gas prices. There is a gas price 'heat map' of the USA you can google it. miles to go divided by miles/gal (mileage of car) will equal how many gallons you will roughly need. Then multiply by your estimate of gas prices. If you take a high end gas price you will end up not paying as much as your estimate. If you keep your car above 1/2 tank you will save more. Of course you will also have to determine how many miles you think you can do a day (safely) to determine how many hotel stays. Get an idea of roughly were you will be stopping at to shop ahead and even book hotel/motels so you wont be hunting one up in the middle of nowhere after dark. And of course you need to think about food...will you eat fast food the whole way or pack some cold drinks/lunchmeat/bread etc and save some cash? As there are all those variables (and more I am sure) then it is hard for ME to give you a concrete answer, but you can find it yourself by plugging your plans into the equations above.
It depends if you're sleeping in your car or not, and what kind of mileage your car gets. Don't speed in Illinois, not one mph over. Gas in Missouri is a little under the national average, it's a little higher in Illinois.
You need to know the price of gas per gallon, the size of the gas tank, and how many miles per gallon your car uses. Then you can figure it out.
I don't think it's 12,500 miles from NY to Missouri.
Ask someone who has done it...that is a long haul but it is not that far USA IS 3000 MILES WIDE

You must be the poster child of stupid to open an account and go on a shopping spree thinking the bank would cover any check your DA wrote. Thats theft and yes - its a felony. The bank will black list you and getting an account anyplace will soon be difficult. Pay them off fast. What did you expect to hear? Now just try to remember the lesson: don't write checks that your DA can't cash.
You sound ridiculous. If there was no money in the account the bank did not have a duty to honor any check that was being posted to your account. If they did you will be responsible to cover the amount. At the end of the day you should know the running balance in YOUR account.
Pay them off as soon as possible, or you wont have another bank account until 2025. You can call the state Bar Association, they should have a list of attorneys by specialty. http://www.mobar.org/forthepublic/findal... Or search for "Missouri Bar Association" and it should be the first link.
You have to sign papers to get over draft protection, by law, in the states. those papers clearly state: $35 per overdraft item and the fee repeats weekly for each item in overdraft. as long as you are paying at least $200 a month, they are not likely to sue you since they will get paid off fully in a couple of months anyway. the courts?

My fiance and I have been in contact with a state park in Missouri and were told that we could rent the meeting room (inside the dining lodge area, but not in the dining room itself) if we were having outside caterers. It would be a 50 dollar charge with an outside caterer, or free if we used the restaurant. Then, here it is a month or so later, we talked the restaurant manager today and she said that we couldn't have any outside caterers because they have concessions. So, we've already found a caterer and have our meal picked out and she throws this at us. Is there any way around this, or are we going to be stuck eating their crappy food? I mean, just because they are the only restaurant in the state park doesn't give them the right to control what everyone eats, does it? It seems a shame someone would want to ruin a wedding for the sake a little cash. We're only having about 35 people after all. Any help would be appreciated.
Make sure there was not confusion that you were intending to rent the meeting room and not the dining room. Ask to speak to at least one more person with the facility, explain that you were told you could us an outside caterer if you rented the meeting room and ask to have that researched. Did policies change recently? Did the person you spoke to originally have wrong information? Perhaps the restaurant manager has wrong information. You need to pursue this with other personnel at the venue before accepting what they are telling you now. If, however you find that they are holding fast to using only in-house concessions for both the dining room and the meeting room there is nothing you can do to change that. You will either have to find another venue or try to work with the concessioners to come up with something you can tollerate.
In case you have not despatched the invites out yet, i could contain it in them. Many travellers would not examine the internet web site that oftentimes, so as that they could omit it. If it''s a small wedding ceremony you ought to continually place self assurance in word of mouth. in spite of you do confirm that all and sundry understands, or it ought to reason vast issues on the day. Many outfits women individuals placed on for weddings could make it very complicated to take a seat on a blanket.

You need to go online to www.fafsa.ed.gov and fill out a application for finacial aid. Its totally free and easy to do, yo chose the schools you want to get the information, they will then send you an award letter to let know what you qualify for school. In the state of missouri they actually forgive a certain part of your student loan if you are a nurse working in a area that is really short, which is everywhere right now. So I would check on your state fiancial aid site to see if there is anything like that in your state. Also if you are a older person, and your parents don't have a bachelors degree many school has special programs for you also. Here its called project stay , and it offers free tutoring, counsling, and grant money to help you stay in school. Its a great support system. You also might check into your local hospitals and see what programs they offer, many will help subsidize school if you are willing to come back there and work for them
I am in a similar situation and this is how I'm going about it. I volunteer at a local ambulance company in my town. First of all, because I am a volunteer they are paying for my EMT training in full and as soon as the next semester begins, they pay for my college education in any field I'm interested in. Since I am interested in nursing the emt classes are going to make it easier for me when it comes time to going to college (for free) for nursing. By the way, I only have to donate a min. of 6 hours per week to get all of these benefits.

Some lenders place a minimum loan amount they would lend to a potential borrower to purchase a home. In Missouri houses are not as expensive as other areas. One other area is in the south. You are able to buy a really good house for under $50,000. You might would want to check a mortgage lender that is authorized to do FHA mortgage loans. FHA mortgage loans are not as strict as most conventional lenders, and there is a possibility that the loan limit might match the area for potential borrowers as to the minimum loan amount. You would need to be pre-approved in order to purchase a house and learn the local minimum. In order to get pre-approved for a mortgage loan you would need 2years of federal income taxes and w-2 for each borrower. There are other documentations needed. You mortgage loan officer would indicate the other necessary forms and documents required once you have made contact with him. You would be able to find a local mortgage by a referral from family, friends and co-workers. You might also google FHA mortgage lenders followed by your city and state. Several sites would pop up for you selection. I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck. "FIGHT ON"
Yes, there is a general minimum, along with appropriate credit scores, down payment amount, and value of the real estate involved. The problem is, even though you have appropriate credit, down payment and similar, is that lenders are NOT interested in mortgage loans of $50K or less. Their costs to process such loans, along with servicing the loan, simply do NOT provide an acceptable 'interest profit' on such low level loans. Understand that the costs of initiating a mortgage loan are similar, regardless of the amount borrowed. If the expected interest earnings (especially at current LOW interest rates) are not sufficient to support a lender's "investment", they will simply deny such a low value loan.

This morning I was issued a summons for an unpaid credit card. The plaintiff is listed as worldwide asset purchasing llc (assign to chase manh bk na) I can't find anything on this collector. The unpaid amount is $1576.13 and does not fall under SOL as my last payment was about 2 years ago (according to my cred report) I think it was before that, but have no proof. What steps do I need to take from here? I have my income tax refund coming in very soon, and will have the money to settle, but I have no way of contacting the collector because I can't find any information on them. I have there lawyers number on my papers, but I don't know if I should contact him. How much would they be allowed to garnish from my paycheck if it gets to that? Any help about a next step would be great. Also my original credit limit for this card was $400. Can someone tell me how that let to the 1573.13 plus 442.02 interest, and 235.96 attorney fee's that they're suing for? Thanks
B R- First does this summons require you to file an answer? If so, you do not have anytime to spare. You need to file your answer ASAP. Missouri is not a debtor friendly state. You’re going to need to rely on the federal laws regarding this debt for any protection. You need to read the FDCPA (fair debt collection practices act), FCRA (fair credit reporting act) and the FCBA (fair credit billing act) for starters. As for Worldwide Asset Purchasing LLC, known junk debt buyers. They were formed by known debt collectors, Frank and Frederick Hanna. They are now owned by West Asset Management Inc. They are known for some sleazy collection practices. Worldwide thrives on getting default judgments. Due to the fact that you are being sued by them makes it imperative you get busy reading and understanding your rights. If you don’t file your answer if required and/or appear in court they will get just that-a default judgment. FYI-Judgments in MO are 9%. I have seen this company be awarded judgments for 22% or more because the defendant did not appear. You mentioned that your last payment was 2 years ago (according to your credit report) but that doesn’t necessarily mean it does not fall under the SOL. Missouri’s SOL on open accounts is 5 years. The SOL starts on the last day payment was made BEFORE the account went sour. When did you open the account with Chase? When was the last time you know your account to be current? Was the account current when you made the last payment listed in your credit report? When you made that payment; did it bring your account current? What is the true accounting of the debt so that you can reasonably determine the charges they are claiming? Were you properly served? These are the type of questions you need to ask yourself as you read the above laws. How/what are they reporting on your credit report(s)? You may find there have been major violations under the FDCPA/FCRA that may enable you to file a countersuit. The burden of proof falls on the plaintiff but you have to get your ducks in a row now. If you truly know without a shadow of a doubt you owe exactly every penny they are claiming you owe then you may be able to contact the plaintiff’s attorney and seek relief by settlement. Good Luck!
Your best bet is to contact the creditor & try to negotiate a one time payment to settle the debt for less than they are suing you for. Odds are, they would accept $1000 - maybe less - as settlement in full. Get a settlement offer IN WRITING before giving them any $$. Then save the letter & the receipt/cancelled check for the rest of your life. These things have a way of reappearing. Whether or not you appear in court, they will win b/c it is a legit debt. I have no idea how much or even IF they can garnish your wages. Rules on that vary from state to state. Like I said, settle it & get it over with before it gets to that point. As a side note, below is a website of a talk radio guy/author that has some really sound advice for getting your finances in order. I use his plan & it works.
Hum, this sounds odd. Contact the original creditor first with you account# should be on your credit report.chase # is 18009452006 call them. Something is off here where they are suing you for over 2100 for a 2 year old debt with a limit of 400 bucks. I would go and file a motion of discovery to your case, this is a right you have where they have to show all statements, original signed contact and how all interest is calculated. I think these numbers are pulled out of thin air. You need to go to court and show you will make a honest effort to pay this but only that is fair. I am betting these clowns may not even show to court, with that 2100 total dollar seines to attempt to scare you to pay all of it.
If you had paid your bill when it was due, you wouldn't have all that interest and other fees. Call the lawyer and ask what they'll take for a pretrial settlement. He may be willing to work with you if you really intend to pay. In the future don't use credit cards and pay your bills.

Just a note : the cost of hiring 120 citizens which benefit of THAT job as police men and women assuming a salary of 35 k would be 420 000 USD not 2.5 billions . second the income tax with held from them assuming a 50 percent even when it is know they do pay taxes in biggest rates would be the smaller number shown in the article since they also include the sale taxes which would be a much bigger number .
The article states that The Missouri Budget Project found that the Undocumented paid their own way, they paid taxes, they also had Medicare and Social Security taxes deducted from their paychecks. They said that the undocumented where not entitled, to food stamps, medicare, social security ,as well as all federal programs. It stated that the Missouri state school cost per child was $3,000 per year that was taxed from that school district, though property tax and goods and services taxes. It also states that the bulk of an Undocumented budget was spent on GOODS and SERVICES. It said nothing about the Billions/Trillions dollars that neo/con propagandist quote.
First there is alot of unknown dealing with illegal immigrant. the article can not be concidered accurate when the number of illegals vary from 35 thousand to 65 thousand. The article made alot of assumptions like half of the employers deducted their paycheck for taxes and that the spending habits of illegal immigrants mirror that of the average citizen. The main flaw of these articles is that they refuse to show a comparison of what the average citizen pays in taxes compared to teh illegal immigrant. It is necessary to give proper prespective. I calculate how much I pay in my state income tax and I pay a higher percent than the combine of the illegals of property sales and state income tax. Granted , California has higher taxes and I am in a higher tax bracket. One of the other flaws on these articles is it refuse to adress the true cost of illegal immigrants and concentrate in a handfull of cost. Education alone according to the article takes out about 60% of the state income. They refuse to look into cost like city services(Police, fireman , etc), city maintenance and infrastructure construction. Little things add up and the millions is not that much money and will go fast. Edit>> Also a problem is that the article shows obvious bias. THis paper discuss state and city tax issue, but then discuss tax benefits in a federal level. They are unrelated because it doesn't discuss federal expenses. Edit>>> If your curious, I estimate the increase cost of hiring extra police officer would be 2.5 to 5 million dollars assuming a 2 to 1000 police ratio, and a salary of $35k. THis does not include administrators or other support staff, Stae law enforcement, vehicles and other equipment to handle the increase population. Unlike the other guy above me, I'm assuming that illegal immigrants are not committing more crimes than the average citizen.
I can't open your link, it froze my computer. Someone posted a link the other day to an article about businesses closing because the illegals in their town had stopped patronizing the stores.. the posters to the question were gloating about getting rid of illegals. What they failed to read or comprehend was that the businesses were owned by US citizens. The smart ones here realize those dollars are needed to support the economy and they can smugly state how they would not mind paying more for services, produce and sundries but I don't believe one word of it. One only has to see how many people drive foreign made cars to see which way that wind is blowing.
The illegals send most of their money back to Mexico. They can do that because they suck on our government teat for free housing, free food stamps, free healthcare, and free education. In turn, the U.S. taxpayers have to pay for it. And we get none of the goodies! And the government wonders why we are so pissed off?
What this document lacks in detail and depth says it all. It is so superficial as to be useless. For example, the increase in crime in my neighborhood is running down property values, decreasing property tax collection. Increasing law enforcement costs. Increasing unpaid hospital bills from emergency room visits. Increased gang violence (MS-13 is now active in our neighborhood). The cost of security improvements. I've had to install a new fence to keep them out of my yard. Cost to me, $5,800.00. I've had to install motion activated floodlights in my backyard. Cost to me, $450.00. Upgrade alarm system with warning signs in Spanish and English. Cost to me, $350.00. This type of superficial treatment of the problem is typical pro-illegal propaganda. There are far more costs associated with the illegal alien pestilence than are outlined by in that document.
Good question. I live in California, and we have MILLIONS of these sponges. Our only hope is that the government steps in and do their job.
Fallowing as in agricultural purposes or following ? I don't care if they spend one dollar or 500 million dollars any criminal outfit who makes money by using criminal documents is making dirty money. These illegals have used fraud to have this dirty money they should be arrested and charged with fraud.
Purchase of "goods and services",according to the referred document.I say again ;'smell your own fingers.
Who cares what they buy with their money, i don't even care what you buy, because it is your money, same with them, it is their money
It all looks pretty when you don't look under the rug
missouri credit
Save up money and go to a private landlord (not a property managment company). Offer them the full deposit + 6-12 months paid UP FRONT. When you show up to meet them, dress as you would for a job interview and be on your best behavior. If they ask, be honest about your credit problems. If you sit there and blame everyone else for them, you will come across as irresponsible and a potential problem.
Renting a house or a room from a private person, can be your solution. Most of them judge you by as a person, not so much your credit report. And if they ask for your credit, you should sell them on the fact that you have good source of income and that your rent is a small part of that income, easily and very affordable. Show your paystubs and a letter of recommendation from your Boss, that you are trustworthy, with a phone number they can confirm, that should do the trick. If not, keep asking a private landlord, someone will say YES. Kiss enough frogs, and you will get a yes. it's cheaper to if you rent a room instead.
Stay in the hotel until you can save up about 6months worth of rent plus deposit. Paying a few months up front might negate your bad credit for some landlords. Or, try to find a landlord/complex that doesn't do credit checks.
It relies upon on the place you're finding yet interior the Chicago, Illinois section there are constantly classified ads interior the paper from landlords who do no longer require a credit examine. seem interior the classifieds and stay far flung from company leases. in the event that they do a credit record you're able to be able to could desire to place down a bigger deposit, co-signer, detect a sublet {this way the unique lease is of their call no longer yours and that's felony} or pass with a roomate concern. stable success.
Ouch. :( That's gotta suck! If you've got some close friends or even family, ask if you can stay with them until you get back onto your feet. If that doesn't work, there's some good churches here in Missouri that will help or lend a hand. I doubt this helps, but. :| Good luck to you.
